COVID-19 Information

For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bradford Animal Hospital is taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety for you and your pet, while still providing full medical care for your pet.

Bradford Animal Hospital
has been deemed an essential business by the state of Massachusetts, and as such, we are open normal business hours to continue providing care for your pet.

With consultation from the CDC and the Massachusetts state guidelines, we are taking a series of precautions in order to practice safely and to ensure that we are able to remain open as long as possible in order to meet your and your pet's needs:

1.  Mask wearing Optional as of April 3rd, 2023:
Masks will be now be optional inside the building.  We can still offer a curbside appointment if you need one you and your pet.

2.  Limiting the amount of people and safe space:
Due to our U-shaped lobby, as well as only having one veterinarian seeing appointments at any given time, we are able to allow you to enter the building with your pet, if you choose to do so.We are allowing 2 sets of clients in the building at a time; one on either side of our lobby, which provides more than 20 feet of safe space between clients. We are asking for people to enter in groups of 2 or less with their pet, in order to assist in keeping numbers small.

3.  Limiting close contact:
In order to further limit close contact, you are able to speak with the technician and doctor directly, from a distance of greater than 6 feet away.  Your pet will then be taken to the treatment area where the doctor will fully examine your pet, and then will return to discuss a treatment plan and provide an estimate or answer any questions that you may have.

4.  Sanitizers:
Before and after every client enters and exits, we are spraying all knobs and surfaces with 70% isopropyl alcohol.  We are also providing hand sanitizers at all stations for both clients and staff to use.  We have plexiglass dividers posted in front of the cash registers to further reduce any risk of COVID-19 spread during check out.
